The Hoover Arts Alliance promotes artists and events for artist in the Hoover (Jefferson and Shelby County area of Alabama) which is near Birmingham.  Visit the website for additional details.

Hoover/Shelby Art Association
Monthly meetings are conducted for all members which features various art programs.  The art association also has a Spring and Fall juried art show which is held at the Heardmont Park in Shelby County which is South of Birmingham, Alabama.  Visit the webite for additional details.

Marsha Robinett
 American born artist Marsha Robinett specializes in Portraits and Still Life...capturing the details of everyday life through an infinite variety of subjects.  Marsha works in both Watercolor and Pencil.  Her pencil drawings are predominately carbon pencil, with accents of charcoal and graphite to achieve the dramatic look that has become her signature style.   Commissions are welcome. Below are two paintings of a sample of her works.
